Industrial Spray Booths

The spray booth captures overspray, protects the finish from dust and keeps the operator's air clean. Lynvex booths for production painting include water curtain booths, sized to your largest part and integrated with your line or used stand-alone.

Booth types for production painting

In a water curtain booth, a continuous sheet of water flows down the back panel and traps paint overspray, which suits liquid paint lines and frequent colour changes. Dry-filter booths trap overspray in filter media instead and suit powder or low-volume work. Booth size follows the largest part plus working clearance, and extraction is sized to the booth face area and your paint system.

Sizing inputs

Send the largest part's dimensions, whether spraying is manual or automatic, and whether the booth stands alone or sits in a conveyor line. If you spray flammable coatings, say which ones: booth electrics and extraction are specified accordingly.

Application scope

Spray booths serve any production painting that values finish quality and operator air: liquid paint lines, stand-alone spray stations, touch-up and repair bays. A booth's real product is controlled air — overspray carried away predictably, dust kept off wet film, and a workspace where a painter or a machine can repeat the same result all shift.

Booth choice also follows the coating's safety profile. Solvent-based paints need extraction and electrics specified for flammable vapours; water-based paints relax some requirements but punish poor airflow with slow drying and dust nibs. State your paint system in the inquiry so the booth is specified for it, not for a generic case.

Keeping a booth performing

A booth performs as maintained: water curtain booths need sludge removal and water level checks; dry booths need filter changes before the filters load up and starve the airflow. In both types the symptom of neglect is the same — finish defects that look like coating problems but are airflow problems. The proposal includes the maintenance rhythm for your paint type and volume.

What to send for a configured quotation

  • Part drawings or photos, with the largest part size (L x W x H)
  • Coating type and finish requirements (colour, gloss, film thickness if specified)
  • Required output: parts per hour or per shift, and working hours per day
  • Destination country and local power supply (voltage / frequency)
  • Workshop space available for the machine or line, if a full line is planned

Buyer questions

Can a booth be added to an existing line?

Yes. Booths are built to your conveyor opening and line height. Send the cross-section and we will match it.

How is overspray water handled?

The booth tank circulates the curtain water; paint sludge is skimmed or filtered. Your site's discharge rules decide the treatment step, which we will flag in the proposal.

Not sure which configuration fits?

Send your part drawings, part size and output target. We will confirm the machine or line configuration and reply with a quotation.
